Joinery And Timber Preservation Treatments.
Unfortunately due to years of neglect, damage can be more extensive than just the flat roof covering as prolonged water ingress can cause serious damage to the roof deck and timber joists leading to decay with wet and dry rot. It is KM Contracts company policy to report any findings immediately to the client.
KM Contracts undertake all our own joinery work and are able to strip out all old damaged roof timbers. We are able to replace joists, wall plates, firring pieces / declivities, supply & fit new roof decking and facia boards in timber or UPVC. All replacement timber is treated and in the case of joists, pre-stressed to comply with current building regulations in the United Kingdom.
We also specialise in the eradication of wet and dry rot in the roof space and applying the necessary treatments and therefore not causing any further delay with sub contractors etc on your roofing project giving you complete peace of mind knowing that your property is in safe hands.
